Downtown Waterloo Wayfinding Signage

RKLA teamed with Vandewalle & Associates to create a Downtown Waterloo Wayfinding Master Plan that led directly to a very successful implementation. Our team led a Wayfinding Committee composed of community leaders and stakeholders through a comprehensive design process that was instrumental to the success and acceptance of the design. This included the development of a unique wayfinding signage style and a process for wayfinding through a complex downtown street network, including consensus on the key destinations in the City. The resulting master plan graphics and report were used for successful grant applications that funded the construction of all of the proposed wayfinding exhibits throughout downtown Waterloo.
