Our firm was hired early in the design development process for this retirement village designed to accommodate various lifestyles of those over 55 years of age. We provided construction documents and construction related services for the plants, irrigation system, and entrance signage. The landscape design includes native limestone boulders, ornamental grass, and native grass areas which provide a linkage to the prairie heritage of the site. A series of sculptured mounds with trees were used to effectively screen an adjacent major highway. Most recently, we were hired to provide design, construction documents, specifications, and construction related services for a recreation trail around their existing pond.
