Regional Medical Center

RITLAND+KUIPER was hired by INVISION to assist in campus improvements associated with a multi-phased addition and renovation to the existing Regional Medical Center. Overall, the project encompassed approximately 60,000sf of new construction along with numerous back-fill renovation projects. The landscape was developed so that the views from interior spaces would feel connected to the natural world and a variety of colors, textures, and layers, while minimizing maintenance concerns for facility staff. A beautiful front entrance plaza and lawn welcomes visitors and patients with limestone block features and bands of pavers and plants that complement the building architecture while screening views of the parking lot from the outdoor seating area. RKLA was recently hired to renovate another entrance of the building to create an outdoor space and access for employees.
